Forever by Takashi Sorimachi

This is my translation for the song “Forever” by Takashi Sorimachi. It is the theme song from the Japanese drama Beach Boys. The song features Richie Sambora from Bon Jovi on guitar.

The Beach Boys has had a profound impact on my adult life. I wrote previously about how the TV series changed my life completely and shaped who I am today. I also shared meaningful and inspiring quotes from the Japanese drama.

While searching for the lyrics and translation, I was surprised to find mostly direct English translations that fail to grasp some of the intricacies. So I decided to work on it to practice my Japanese.
